Enrolling

If you would like to find out more about enrolling your child you can do this in a couple of different ways:

  1. Talk with the management committee’s parent liaison officer (currently Roz ph 380 1206). Feel free to ask any questions you’ve got, including getting a parent’s perspective.
  2. Come  to visit and observe the centre in action. Visits should be made on Wednesdays between 9.30 and 11.30am.  If you intend to visit please leave a message on the centre’s answerphone (phone 04-389 5683) the night before so centre staff know to expect you.

If you’re interested in enrolling your child, you will be able to fill in a enrollment form during a visit.

Waitlist

There is a waiting list which is managed according to the centre’s policies.

To go on the waiting list, please visit the centre and complete an enrolment form. The list operates on a first come first served basis, except for children who have older siblings at the centre – these children are given priority.

When a place become available the centre contacts the person at the top of the list to see if the days available are suitable. If not, the next person is contacted and so on until the place has been filled. If you do not accept the first place you are offered you can maintain your place on the list and will be contacted when the next place is available.

The waiting times can be considerable, and parents are encouraged to put their child on the waiting list at other centres also.
